vinyasa and hatha
Vinyasa can be translated as “placing in a special way". I like to think of it as moving with intention and presence.
Movement is coordinated with breath to flow from one pose to the next, learning alignment and gaining strength and flexibility.
I went to my first yoga class at fourteen years old and since then yoga has become an integral part of my life. I found that practicing yoga made me feel physically and mentally strong. It also just felt really good! And I hope to bring that sentiment out in my classes.
I completed 200 hour vinyasa teacher training in Cheltenham. My classes focus on breath and movement, while remaining both strong and lighthearted, utilising the practice to become more present and aware of your body and mind. This creates focus and stillness, vital in our busy lives, generating a sense of calm and vitality.
